Numbers reflect Customer Dissatisfaction

"Shoppers contacting customer support are less than satisfied with merchants customer support efforts according to a BizRate.com study. When merchant performance is compared to buyer importance, customer support consistently rates as highly important to buyers but is poorly executed by merchants"

"Computer buyers who had contacted customer support preferred doing so by phone ( 52%) rather than by email (40%), while very few preferred instant messaging (9%)"
